I discovered Love Me Beauty through Elle magazine as there was a discount on offer for the first month. How it works is they offer a variety of monthly membership packages and you are given credits when you sign up with a varying value depending on which package you are subscribed to and every month another 60 credits are added. There is also the option to add on more credits if you so wish. These credits can then be used to buy products in the Boutique section of the site. Great products are on offer and at a discount in comparison to what would be found on the high street.

I am pleasantly surprised at the size of the samples and I am particularly excited to try out the Percy & Reed Foaming Treatment Mask. The jewellery I received is not of the greatest quality (think Primark) but is pretty enough.

I also received a gold quartz ear cuff, gold necklace with raw cut aquamarine stone and hammered gold bar necklace.

I applied the dye to only about an inch and 1/2, leaving it for about 7 minutes then I applied more product further up the hair blending with both the brush and by running my fingers through.In total I let it develop for about 25-30 minutes.

This is the end result immediately after being washed and dried. I found the product easy to apply but my god the harsh chemical smell was awful, the things we do for fickle vanity eh :)

I'm happy with the result but I have to say as I write this a few weeks on I do think the colour has faded slightly even though the lightening effect is permanent. The fading has made the colour appear more natural and I think it now looks like it has a natural fade into the ombre so overall pretty happy with the result.

I was inspired by the character Susan Pevensie in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, part of the great Chrismas tv . I absolutely adore Anna Popplewell's simple 1940's hair style in the first half of the film. It's such a classic but simple look and I love that.
