Tanya Burr's Oreo Cupcakes

Ingredients 

For the cupcakes:                      
175g butter                                
165g caster sugar                      
3 eggs                                        
40g cocoa powder
125g self raising flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 pack Oreos

For the icing:
1/2 pack of Oreos
75g butter
175 g icing sugar


Turn your oven to 180 degrees celsius and place the cupcake cases in the tin along with an oreo in the bottom of each case as a little surprise.
For the cake mix start by creaming together the butter and sugar. Once creamy add in the eggs. 
Now it's time to add in the dry ingredients (cocoa, self raising flour and baking powder) and remember to sieve so the cakes will be light.
Now you can fill the cases almost to the top and put them in the oven for about 14-17 minutes.

The Icing
Mix together the butter and icing sugar until creamy.
Now break half a pack of oreos into crumbs. You can do this by using a blender or putting them in a sealed bag and use a rolling pin.
Mix the oreo crumbs into the icing and that is the oreo icing done.
